A Winter Wedding

Taylor and Alex were just the coolest couple to work with. I've known Alex's mom forever and I got to know Alex when I took his high school senior pictures a few years ago. I met Taylor for the first time last summer and what a delight she is. These guys were a pleasure to work with and as easygoing as you will find. When Taylor first told me that they were changing their summer wedding to a winter wedding, I checked my schedule and saw that I could still do it. I then mentioned that maybe we would get some snow. The old saying, "Be careful what you wish for" comes to mind here. We got snow all right, when one of the biggest snowstorms in this area's recent history turned this wedding into ...

A Winter Wedding

When my long-time friend first asked me if I would be interested in photographing her daughter’s wedding in Branson I immediately thought it would be a fun one to shoot. It had been nearly 30 years since I last visited Branson and I had heard a lot of great things over the years about the changes being made there. I also had known the bride’s mom since we were teenagers and I knew Sherry and her daughter would put together an amazing wedding. Then I heard about the wedding details, and I knew this was a wedding that I wanted to shoot. This wedding had everything and then some.Of course Lauryn is beautiful and her lavender dress was absolutely gorgeous. She lives in Memphis ...

A Winter Wedding

In October I had the honor of photographing this beautiful wedding in St. Louis, Missouri. Tara and Ryan are absolutely gorgeous people and they were a delight to work with. From their consultation to their engagement shoot, from their wedding planning to their wedding day, this couple knocked it out of the park. Of course, as a former Miss Missouri, Tara is used to having her picture taken. The rest of the wedding party wasn't too shabby either and it consisted of a former Miss Minnesota, a former Miss Missouri USA, and a former Miss Northeast Counties. Lots of beauty queens...Everything about this wedding was perfect, from the weather to the ceremony and reception. The beautiful wedding ...

A Winter Wedding

Congratulations to this gorgeous couple. They are both just beautiful people, on the inside and out. We had such a fun time doing their engagement session. Tara and Ryan were smiling, laughing and joking the whole time and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph both of them. With the help of my lovely assistant Kayla, we were able to work around the bright sunny skies and we got some great shots. It just so happened that the Bradford pear and dogwood trees were in full bloom so that made for some beautiful backgrounds. I'm really happy that these two lovebirds found each other and I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding later this year. It's going to be amazing!  ...

A Busch Stadium Wedding

A Winter Wedding

As for as weddings go, they don’t get much more enjoyable than the Moore-Wheeler wedding. The fact that the wedding was held at Busch Stadium, the home of my favorite sports team, was just icing on the cake for me. Mary and Brandon made the perfect bride and groom. They are good-looking, easy going and in love. I really liked them from the first time that I met them. I don’t normally go to wedding rehearsals but I was invited and this was no ordinary wedding, so Dave, my second shooter, and I both attended. We enjoyed getting to meet the wedding party and their families. On the day of the wedding we arrived early and got a few detail shots. We also got a few shots of the ...
